CLONMEL, CO.TIPPERARY.
The Alzheimer Society of Ireland works across the country in the heart
of local communities providing dementia specific services and
advocating for the rights of people affected by dementia to quality
supports and services.

is person centred, rights-based and grassroots led with the voice of
the person with dementia and their carer at its core.
The ASI is currently recruiting Four Care Workers to be based in Le
Cairde Day Care Centre, Glenconnor Road, Clonmel, Co.Tipperary, who
will report to the Nurse Manager.
All contracts on offer are fixed-term for **Apply on the website**
months.
There are three full time positions available working **Apply on the
website** hours per week.
The other contract is part-time working **Apply on the website** hours
per week.
Care Workers are responsible for providing person centred care and
support to people with dementia.
To be successful in this role you will need experience in health,
social or disability care. A FETAC Level 5 qualification is desirable.
You will need good communication skills, empathy, patience and be able
to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Salary will be commensurate with the care sector, and dependent on
relevant experience.
